Spoilers: What Will Happen in Season 4?

We have a lot to see in season four. In fact, creator Jeff Rake will have to squeeze the planned three seasons of plot into a single season — albeit one with more episodes. All this to come to a proper conclusion. In his interview with EW, he said: “The ending of the game won’t change a thing… I’m absolutely confident that 20 episodes gives me enough time to tell the whole story as I always intended.”said the author at the time of the renovation.

In season three, Angelina stabs Grace during an altercation, and Ben doesn’t know this as he’s in the middle of a calling. After disappearing, Cal returns, but as a teenager. He then holds Grace, who appears to be dying, and assures her that he knows what needs to be done. Meanwhile, the love triangle between Michaela, Zeke and Jared is triggered once again. In Eureka, Bill Daly suddenly reappears, only to disappear with the last remaining parts of the aircraft.

In season four, therefore, Ben may have a hard time digesting what happens to Grace, and even seek revenge. Cal returns as a teenager, which is significant given that this is the age he would have been had he not boarded Flight 828. That means Cal has sacrificed five years of his life, but it would be interesting to know what brought him to that. When Cal disappeared, no one knew where he had gone, why he had gone and what had happened there. Also, Bill Daly’s sudden reappearance could change the course of things.

Is Grace really dead?

Fans saw Grace die after being stabbed by Angelina. But before she supposedly died, Grace was reunited with her son – now a teenager, Cal. However, she certainly wouldn’t be the first Manifest character to be resurrected, should she ever return. “There might be a scary haunting!” Karkanis told the TV Insider in June 2021.

Rake, meanwhile, kept his descriptions of Grace’s ending more vague, but noted that he “didn’t make that decision [de matar Grace] lightly”.

“There is nothing wrong with that”he said. “As well as there’s nothing manipulative about it. There’s nothing spiteful about it. It was part of our history, and its significance in Manifest remains as strong as ever. Her character lives on through Cal, from Olive (Luna Blaise), from baby Eden. And, of course, Ben. While he tries to go on without her.”

How will Ben react to the tragedy?

Ben was trapped in a Call when Angelina attacked Grace, so onlookers have yet to witness his reaction. “Manifest Season 4 for Ben is absolutely centered around processing, digesting, accepting such an unspeakable loss. And then try to find a way to seek revenge, to justify the act in terms of finding some meaning out there. that”Rake detailed to TV Insider, adding that the moment “becomes the absolute driving force for his character not just in season four, but in the back half of the series”.

Dallas predicted his character would continue down a reckless path after the tragedy.

“He’s going to have a lot to deal with and whether or not he keeps this kind of dark edge that’s closing in on him in Season 4 and whether or not it gets bigger. I can imagine that not only will he be even more motivated to find out what happened to him, but what happened to Grace and who is responsible and where her baby is and where Angelina is.”suggested the actor. “I don’t know if he’s going to handle all these things within the letter of the law.”

Where was Cal during his disappearance?

After touching the tail of the plane, Cal disappeared before appearing again on a call with Ben, Michaela and Saanvi (Parveen Kaur). When he returned home, he was a teenager – suddenly the same age he would have been if he hadn’t taken Flight 828 with his father and aunt.

It’s for Ben and the others to find out where he’s been, why he was there, what happened there.,” Rake joked, noting that Cal’s sacrifice of more than five years of his life was one he “made for everyone in the world”.

The brief reappearance of the plane’s pilot, Captain Daly (Frank Deal), during the Season 3 finale offered another clue.

Ben will understandably believe his disappearance, the disappearance of the passengers, Captain Daly, Cal, tailfin himself, that they all went to the same place that this divine intervention is the puppet master moving the strings.” Rake said.

As Ben, Michaela, Saanvi, everyone keeps trying to put the pieces together, they’re going to try to decipher if it’s possible to access that place if this is purgatory, some unknown destination that no one knows about. … That will be an integral part of how they try to save themselves.

Are Michaela and Zeke getting divorced?

Jared essentially told Michaela during the Season 3 finale that he only let her marry Zeke because he thought her husband was now dying. Zeke then informed Michaela that they needed to talk, announcing trouble for the beloved pair.

“I don’t think Zeke will throw in the towel so easily and I think Michaela is deeply conflicted.” suggested Rake. “Let’s watch this conflict unfold. It would be too easy for the story and it would be too easy for the characters to walk away from this marriage… I would never expect Michaela or Zeke to throw in the towel at each other, nor would I expect Jared to throw in the towel. He made his intentions very clear by staying out on the street in those final moments of the season finale. So you can expect a lot more headache and tension as we continue to play the sine curve of this triangle.

Saanvi saved the “lifeboat”?

Saanvi had a Calling for the first time in a long time, leading her to question whether the plane’s tailgate return to the ocean set her free for murdering the Major (Elizabeth Marvel).

Rake acknowledged that “Looks like Saanvi has redeemed himself”, but other passengers will find themselves in similar situations as they navigate the gray areas of right and wrong. He anticipated that the questions of who will live and die will be addressed “until the end of the story.”

Which passengers are the villains?

A lot of questions arose about passengers’ approaches to their return during Season 3, with Angelina, Eagan (Ali Lopez-Sohaili) and Adrian (Jared Grimes) creating a movement against the Stones. The rivalry is also far from over.

[Na terceira temporada] we were telling the origin story of a triumvirate – Angelina, Eagan and Adrian – who came together to represent the oppositional point of view of Ben, Michaela, Saanvi and Cal”, revealed the creator of the series. “This chasm, this dichotomy between two groups of passengers will generate conflict and tension and build the stakes for the coming seasons as we approach the date of death.

Rake hinted that Angelina could take on a bigger role in future episodes, saying that she “is now as much a part of the fabric of this story as anyone else”.
