Enola Holmes 2 has a release date, trailer and more news

The game started again. And Victorian London’s most brilliant detective, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown), has found herself in the middle of yet another elusive case in Enola Holmes 2. But this time, she’s the expert in her own detective agency.

In the new trailer for the film, which opens on November 4, the hunt takes her to the Lyon Match Factory, where one of the town’s match girls has mysteriously disappeared.

While the girl’s peers are skeptical of this seemingly stylish detective looking for her friend, Enola quickly teaches them that, stylish or not, she is certainly good at fighting and solving mysteries.

Henry Cavill also returns in the new adventure

His older brother, the famous Sherlock (Henry Cavill), is also back in the sequel with a baffling case. He strangely finds himself partnering with Enola in the most unexpected places. After all, if you have a problem to solve, you better go big and go for Holmes.

Their partnership may give the mother (played by Helena Bonham Carter) one more thing to answer for, as she encourages Enola to find her allies and truly step into her magnificence.

“Work with them and you will become more of who you are”, she tells her daughter in the trailer. Aside from Sherlock, this also includes asking her old friend Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge) for help – but she begs him not to make her do it again.

Synopsis gives a taste of the new Enola Holmes movie

According to the synopsis of Netflix, “Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) is still getting the taste of solving her first case and, determined to follow in the footsteps of her famous brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill), she starts working as a detective. The problem is that the career is not very busy. Resigned to the hardships of adulthood, she is about to drop everything. Until a penniless girl shows up with a request that promises to be Enola’s first official case. Find the missing sister.”says the logline official.

“As the situation proves increasingly challenging, Enola plunges into a new and dangerous world in London – from gray factories to vibrant theaters to the upper echelons of society and the famous 221B Baker Street address itself. As a deadly conspiracy begins, Enola will need the help of friends – and Sherlock himself – to unravel the mystery. The game, it seems, has started again!”
